"Keys" is a cool Canadian Import with a rich "Heritage" and brings a fresh variety of genetic diversity to Highland Genetics. Feminine and practical. Key's was made for rough terrain and can really cover ground with ease. Along with her black hide, Keys is deep in the heart girth, clean in the shoulder, and has a rather long stride for her size. Key's paternal grandsire, Calum Seoladair Dubh 2nd of Killochries, was widely used in Canada and Australia, being well known for adding length and muscling to his calves. On the bottom side of her pedigree, Key's maternal grandsire was Raindancer of Five Star Farms, the 2005 NWSS Reserve Champion Bull. Raindancer is sired by Knight of Five Star Farms, who was also the 2002 NWSS Reserve Champion Bull.

Our favorite aspect to this young female is her docility. She's easy on the eyes and on the halter! Key's was shown extensively by youth showman's, and even long after her show career she's so easy to work with. A true testament to her easy going demeanor. In 2023 Key's was the Reserve Champion Senior Heifer Calf at the NCHCA Show. We believe a heifer like Keys will make some neat outcrosses to a wide array of breeding programs.
